McMurray 18th, Montoya 29th at Richmond

Richmond, VA (April 30, 2011) - Juan Pablo Montoya began the Matthew and Daniel Hansen 400 at Richmond International Raceway from the pole position and appeared to be on his way to a top-10 finish. After leading early, Montoya found himself solidly running inside of the top-10 until contact with another car gave Montoya damage to his right rear. The damage forced Montoya to pit and fall off of the lead lap. Montoya came home with a 29th place finish.

Jamie McMurray started from the 17th position and ran inside the top-20 for much of the evening. By the half-way point, McMurray had cracked the top-10 before getting damage in a multi-car accident. McMurray battled back from the damage for an 18th place finish.
