EGR PLAYS 'HIDE AND TWEET' IN CHARLOTTE

Play ‘Hide and Tweet’ With Montoya and McMurray in Charlotte

Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Drivers Visit Charlotte’s Most Popular Attractions

CONCORD, N.C. (October 10, 2011) – Jamie McMurray, driver of the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet, and Juan Pablo Montoya, driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet, will travel around the greater Charlotte area and will be photographed for the upcoming “Hide and Tweet” contest.  Well, sort of.  If you are familiar with “Flat Stanley” or “Where’s Waldo?” then you might understand.

Cut-outs of each driver will visit various locations around the Charlotte Metro area throughout the Bank of America 500 race week, giving fans the opportunity to guess where they will show up.

Beginning on Monday, Oct. 10, the team will kick-off the new “Hide and Tweet” contest across their social media platforms.  Each day during race week, two photographs will be released on Facebook and promoted on Twitter, and fans will have the opportunity to guess which local landmark the drivers are visiting.  Fans will be allowed to submit their answers on the team’s Facebook page and the first person to guess where they were will win driver merchandise compliments of the race team.

The contest will run twice per day through the Saturday, Oct. 15 Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
