Earnhardt Ganassi Racing to Host Fan Events during Charlotte Race Weeks

As the 2009 schedule heads into the Charlotte race weekend for the spring races at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates has scheduled several events over the course of the two weeks to give the fans an opportunity to meet their favorite Earnhardt Ganassi driver or stop by the race shop to get a glimpse into the race shop. 

 

Friday, May 22 – Driver Autograph Sessions

3:00 to 4:00    Martin Truex Jr. will host an autograph session at the Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC. Autographs are guaranteed for the first 300 fans that receive a wristband.  Fans can pick-up their wristbands at Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd.  The store is located at 8181 Concord Mills Blvd., Concord, NC 28027.

 

4:30 to 5:30     Juan Pablo Montoya, driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet, will be making an appearance at the Afton Ridge Target store in Concord.  The Autograph line will open at 3:30 p.m. at the store.  We will not be able to accommodate a line before this time.  The first 200 fans will be allowed one autograph per person.  No photographs will be available at this event. May 1 to 15       Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

May 16 to 31     Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

 

Lowe’s Motor Speedway Bus Tours to Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and Dale Earnhardt Inc.

Tickets:

·         $25 for adults

·         $8 for children 12 and under

·         All tour tickets include free ticket to Windstream Pole Night (May 21)

Structure:

·         One-hour guided behind-the-scenes tour at Dale Earnhardt Inc. highlights the life of Dale Earnhardt

·         25% discount at Dale Earnhardt Inc. gift shop

·         30-minute stop at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing

·         20% discount at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing gift shop

 

Two sessions each day:

·         Depart from zMAX Dragway tower

·         Morning departs at 9 a.m.

·         Afternoon session departs at 1 p.m.

 

Available days:

·         May 18-22

·         May 23 (morning tour only)

 

Additional information regarding Target store appearance: Due to overwhelming turnouts at autograph sessions, it may not be possible for all guests to meet Juan Pablo Montoya.  Target and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing reserve the right to end the appearance at any time for any reason.
